The newly emerging progressive and nordic metal project Ipomonia is to release the debut-EP, Contemplation I, which is set to be released on the 21st of march, 2025. 

This EP blends elements of modern progressive metal with a Nordic melancholic vibe, creating a distinct sound that traverses both the intense and the introspective. Drawing inspiration from names such as Leprous, Soen, Eivør, and Wardruna, Contemplation I combines intricate rhythms with expansive, emotionally charged melodies, reflecting landscapes of both inner conflict and quiet resolution.

On this EP, complex, powerful structures are discovered in synthesis with delicate, atmospheric moments. The EP represents the intersection of progressive metal’s technicality and the evocative, melodic sensibilities of Nordic traditions.​
